The event will include demonstrations of the dog agility park by area dog trainer Dewayne the Dog Guy. There will also be a dog adoption fair in conjunction with Ruff Love Rescue of Thomasville.
The dog agility course is the brainchild of Norah Parrish, a 16-year-old junior at Wheatmore High School, who raised money to build the agility course for her Girl Scout Gold Award project.
A member of Troop 13077 at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Trinity, Norah raised more than $9,000 and bought several pieces of equipment for the dog agility park.
